This year we helped build a new trail. It took many years to get the alignment right, partnerships lined up and permitting done through the leadership from the U.S. Forest Service – Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. The new Kingsbury Stinger Trail is another piece in the puzzle and will allow for more opportunities for future trails in the area. This video was made by First Tracks Productions to show how the new trail came about. Thanks to everyone that helped build (133 volunteers), along with trail crews from the USFS and American Conservation Experience, cooperation from Tahoe Rim Trail Association, grant funding from Nevada recreational trails program your Connection to Adventure and local bike shop Shoreline of Tahoe for leading multiple trail days. Enjoy!
