Corral Trail will be getting even better this year. The USFS has hired professional trail and bike park designers Hilride to solicit input and ideas on how to improve Corral with added features and flow. A public meeting will be held at the USFS building at 35 College Drive in South Lake Tahoe on April 28th from 6pm to 8pm. Please bring your ideas and input on how you think Corral Trail can be transformed into an iconic trail, your ideas will be heard.
It is important to voice our ideas as mountain bikers on this project because it will set the stage for future opportunities to directly give the USFS input on the design of trails in Tahoe. Corral trail has received a lot of attention over the last couple years because it is one of the only trails approved for such improvements in Tahoe, even if you think it is “good enough” it can still be better.
