In less than 6 weeks after being identified as having a detrimental impact on natural resources, the lower section of the Valley View Trail, part of the Tahoe Mountain Complex, has been rerouted. On 4 June, 30 volunteers moved boulders, cut out root balls, trimmed white thorn, and got very dirty to activate the new section of trail.
